The Ferdinand Menrad Group was founded in 1896 by Ferdinand Menrad and today is one of the very few family-owned and managed spectacle frame manufacturers in the fourth generation. The Menrad Group is a leading company in the area of design, production and distribution of high quality spectacle frames and sunglasses. Headquarters are in Schwabisch Gmund and Munich, Germany.
Fully FMG owned production facilities are operated in Switzerland and China. Ten FMG owned distribution companies cater to the local opticians in all major European markets. In addition independent distributors service the American, Asian, African and several European countries.Our own production facilities guarantee that our founder’s philosophy from 1896 continues to be true. “I believe in the power of thoroughness.
